Reliable, Affordable Heating And Air
When you have problems with your heating and air, most homeowners only see dollar signs. While replacing your HVAC system can be expensive, we work with all our clients to extend the life of their current system. When it’s time for a furnace or ac replacement, we’ll help you manage the situation in the most affordable way possible.
We have the ability to work with HVAC suppliers around Atlanta and because we don’t have all the massive overhead that some of the larger heating and air companies do, we can pass along our savings to our customers.
Why Call Poe’s Heating And Air?
When it comes to HVAC services, we put our customers first. We’re a family owned and operated HVAC company, so we depend upon referrals to grow our business. There may be other ways, but to us, the only way to get referrals is to treat your customers right. In other words, we have to do a good job! It’s simple with us.
Here are some other reasons that calling us is a great call:
- We carry low overhead, so we charge less than most of our competitors
- Knowledgeable staff- we train our techs all the time
- Nearly four decades of commercial HVAC experience
Emergency HVAC Services
Because heating and air problems don’t always happen on a 9-5 schedule, we provide emergency HVAC services. Living in the south, it’s been our experience that the heat can not only make you incredibly uncomfortable, but when the air conditioner isn’t cooling, it can be dangerous. There’s no need to suffer. Call us and we’ll be there when you need us.
Your Heating & Air System: Repair Or Replace?
This is the question that every one of our techs get when we’re doing an HVAC inspection. More often than not, your system can probably be just fine with a few simple repairs, but just as everything has a lifespan, there are times when your heating and air system needs to be replaced. Here are some of the questions we tend to ask when considering whether to repair or replace your HVAC system:
- How old is your air conditioner or furnace? AC units typically last 10 to 12 years. Your furnace should last 15 to 20 years with proper maintenance and upkeep. Your heat pump should last a decade or so.
- How energy efficient is your current HVAC system? It only makes sense that older units tend to lose their efficiency. Newer systems are far more energy efficient than they used to be so there may be some cost savings in upgrading.
- How happy are you with your current heating and air system? If you’re experiencing wide temperature swings, loud noises or poor indoor air quality, these all may be signs that you may need an HVAC replacement.
- The cost/benefit equation. Sometimes, it’s important to consider the costs of repairs vs the value of your current HVAC system. If it’ll cost 50% or more of the value of your system to repair it, you may want to consider replacing it instead.
Saving You Money
Keep in mind, when considering a air conditioner or furnace replacement, there are times when we can take advantage of rebates to help you save money.
We’ll discuss these options with you at the time, but that is often a possibility to consider in the equation.
